Roy’s simplified approach has definitely made obtaining my goals a reality.
Through receiving feedback and recognition by way of progress shots, measurements and group chats, his reputation as a top coach is well deserved. I started following Roy on Instagram earlier this year and I found his posts and stories refreshing from the usual jargon-filled nonsense that a lot of the fitness industry spout on social media.
I joined the Fast Track to Fitness programme in November, which was perfectly timed with my own plan to get back into the gym and shed some unwanted weight. I absorbed all the kick-off information and received a plan based on my goals, measurements and ability. I have a gym membership so was able to take a plan which utilised their equipment, but I was aware that home-based workouts were also an option.

For me personally, his approach to the nutritional element of the plan was invaluable. It allowed me to relax my preconceived ideas about what I should be eating to assist losing weight and instead focus on the overall calorie content I was consuming.
After six weeks I shed over 4kgs and am moving more efficiently and with greater strength in the gym thanks to his tips on stretching and squatting. And all this was achieved while still managing to enjoy the ‘silly season’ with nights out and Christmas parties.
I still have a little more weight I want to shift and I’m confident with the knowledge and tools Roy has given me I will achieve this into the new year and beyond.
