What is the difference between in-person PT and online coaching?

The fully depends on what you’re looking for. For PT it can be great if you need and expert eye to teach you some lifting technique (if they specialise in that area). However, with PT, it often begins and ends with the session. This means that you don’t get and true nutrition giudance, a progressive training plan, or goal setting and achieving. 

With online coaching, you have the benefit or having a coach in your pocket at all times. I work closely by your side. This ensures that we map out exactly what you need in your nutrition, training, routine, and behaviours required to achieve your goals. Not only that but there’s a higher level of accountability, support, guidance, and education to ensure you progress in a manner that you understand and are confident of.

What type of nutrition support is included?

As a certified nutritionist, it’s important that we discuss your diet history, preferences, and education. This helps us determine what approach will be beneficial for you to develop and progress. Not only that, life changes. You go on holiday, have social events, and have buser weeks. This means that the nutritional guidance may differ accommodate these changes. 

Also, it’s important to factor in your diet preference, such as vegan, carnivore, or vegetarian.

Do I need to train in a gym?

Although having access to a gym is beneficial, i’ve coached many clients who prefer to train at home. All I will need is to know what equipment you have available.

I have a highly demanding job, will this work for me?

I specialise in working with people with demanding careers and lifestyles. Whether it’s long hours or frequently travel. This requires us to plan ahead for any changes. for your diet, it may mean prioritising protein on the go. For your training, it may mean reducing the number of workouts while making them shorter. If you travel often, then we can adjust your training depending on whether it’s a hotel gym or offshore rig.

What do I get with my coaching program?

What if I don't feel confident with certain exercises or being in the gym?

That’s ok. The training programming is developed to meet you where you’re at. This means I will only program exercises that you prefer while progressing you toward exercises you want to learn.

If you don’t feel confident in your gym, then we will work in specific ways to support this.

I have a holiday coming up soon, so should I wait?

Despite what you may think, this can work in your favour. the same goes if it’s close to Christmas. It can mean that we can learn specific training and dietary methods quicker which will help accelerate your learning and progression. 

Alternatively, if the holiday is within the time of the call then we can place down a deposit so that you can have things in place for when you return.

If you Don’t have access to a specific piece of equipment then I am on hand to help you with alternatives. Making working out as convenient as possible for you. If you want to improve at a certain exercise, movement, or lift, then we will work toward making that happen.

You will no longer feel like you’re going it alone. Most people struggle because they don’t fully know what to do, and often give up on themselves. This ends here.
